Raspberry Margarita

This Raspberry Margarita features a mouthwatering blend of fresh raspberries, tequila, and lime juice. It’s easy to whip up and perfect for any gathering or a refreshing evening sip.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup fresh raspberries
  • ¾ ounce agave syrup
  • 1 ounce triple sec
  • 1½ ounces tequila blanco
  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • lime slices, fresh raspberries and mint sprigs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar and salt on a small plate. Dip the rim of a glass in water, then coat it with the sugar-salt mix.
  2. Set the glass aside.
  3. In a cocktail shaker, muddle fresh raspberries with agave syrup.
  4. Add ice, triple sec, tequila, and lime juice to the shaker. Seal and shake thoroughly.
  5. Fill the rimmed glass with ice and strain the cocktail into the glass. Use a fine mesh sieve for a smoother drink, if desired.
  6. Garnish with lime slices, raspberries, and mint. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more agave syrup if desired.
For a non-alcoholic version, omit the tequila and triple sec and replace with soda water.
