- 3 pounds potatoes peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- ½ cup onion chopped
- 2 cup ham diced
- 10.75 ounces cream of mushroom soup (1 can)
- ½ cup water
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Grease the inside of the Crock-Pot.
- Layer sliced potatoes on the bottom of the crock pot, then add cheese, onion, and ham, mixing well.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, water, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, then pour over the potato mixture.
- Cover and cook on HIGH for about 4 hours until the potatoes are fork tender, or on LOW for 8-10 hours.
Notes
For a creamier texture, consider adding more cheese or using a richer cream of mushroom soup.
Feel free to substitute with your favorite type of cheese or add vegetables for extra flavor.
This dish can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before cooking.
