Ingredients
Scale
- 5 sirloin steaks – about 1 ½ thick
- 1 tbsp grape seed oil
- 1 tsp coarse sea salt
- 1 tsp fresh cracked black pepper
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
- ½ cup grated parmesan
- ¼ cup shredded parmesan
- ½ tbsp chopped parsley
- 4 tbsp softened unsalted butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 packet ranch seasoning
- 5 slices provolone cheese
Instructions
- Brush the steaks with grape seed oil and season generously with salt and pepper on all sides. Let the steaks sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes. Cooking times may vary, so use a meat thermometer to check doneness; this method yielded medium rare steaks.
- Place the steaks into the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes. Flip the steaks halfway through cooking.
- Prepare the Parmesan crust topping by mixing panko bread crumbs, grated parmesan, shredded parmesan, chopped parsley, minced garlic, softened butter, and ranch seasoning in a bowl.
- Remove the steaks from the air fryer and heat it to 400°F again.
- Top each steak with a slice of provolone cheese and a generous scoop of the parmesan breadcrumb mixture. Return the steaks to the air fryer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve the steaks with your favorite veggies and enjoy!
Notes
Grapeseed oil can be replaced with extra virgin olive oil if preferred.
Adjust cooking time according to the thickness of the steaks for your desired level of doneness.
