  • ¼ cup olive oil

Instructions

  • Choose a high-quality tri tip roast.
  • Mix garlic salt, Lawry’s seasoning salt, kosher salt, black pepper, sugar, garlic powder, and parsley for the marinade.
  • Rub the marinade all over the tri tip roast and marinate for at least 1 hour.
  • For grilling, preheat the grill and sear the steak for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  • Cook over indirect heat for about 20-25 minutes to desired temperature.
  • Rest the steak for 10-15 minutes, slice, and serve.
