Ingredients
Scale
- 4 3 ounce boxes jello gelatin (blue, orange, red, and green)
- 4 cups boiling water
- 2 .25 ounce envelopes unflavored gelatin
- 2 cups hot water
- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prepare each color of Jello by dissolving packets into individual containers with 1 cup boiling water for each color. Chill for 2 hours to set.
- Once set, cut the Jello into small cubes and arrange them evenly in a 9×13 dish. Refrigerate while preparing the white gelatin layer.
- In a heatproof bowl, mix unflavored gelatin with 2 cups of very hot water until fully dissolved. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk, sugar, and vanilla until combined. Let this mixture cool to room temperature.
- Remove the dish with color Jello cubes from the fridge, and gently pour the white gelatin mixture over the cubes. Place back in the fridge and let it chill overnight until fully set.
- Cut the completed Jello into squares or fun shapes, and serve.
Notes
For a festive touch, use additional colors of Jello to customize your dessert.
Ensure the Jello cubes are firm before combining with the white gelatin to maintain their shape.
