- 3 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 2 cups chicken broth
- ⅓ cup soy sauce
- 1 Tablespoon pure maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 Tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 Tablespoon dried onion flakes
- 2 Tablespoons corn starch
- 3 Tablespoons water
- White Rice (for serving)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Spray the slow cooker with nonstick spray.
- Layer chicken breasts at the bottom and add broccoli on top.
- Whisk together chicken broth, soy sauce, maple syrup, sesame oil, salt, pepper, garlic, ginger, and onion flakes.
- Pour sauce mixture over chicken and broccoli.
- Cover and cook on high for 3 hours or low for 5-6 hours.
- Make a slurry with cornstarch and water, stir into slow cooker, and cook until thickened.
- Serve over white rice, garnish with sesame seeds.
