- 12 oz french baguette cut into ¾” cubes
- ¼ cup canola oil or olive oil
- 2 tbsp ranch seasoning such as hidden valley
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped (optional)
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375℉ and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice the baguette in half for easier handling, then cut it into ¾” cubes.
- In a large bowl, drizzle the oil over the bread cubes and toss until they are evenly coated.
- Add the ranch seasoning, parsley, kosher salt, and black pepper to the bread. Toss everything together to ensure even distribution.
- Spread the seasoned bread chunks on the baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 25 minutes, or until the croutons are crispy and golden brown, tossing them halfway through for even cooking. Allow them to cool completely.
- Store the cooled croutons in an airtight container.
