Ingredients
Scale
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tbsp oil, any neutral oil such as avocado
- 8 sheets phyllo dough, 14 x 9
- 8 ounces light cream cheese
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 cup whipped topping, such as truwhip or my homemade yogurt whipped cream
- 1 11-oz can mandarin oranges, drained or 2 to 3 fresh, peeled
- 4 kiwifruit, peeled and sliced
- 1 ½ cups sliced strawberries
- 1 oz white baking chocolate, melted
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter and oil.
- On a baking sheet, lay down one sheet of phyllo dough and brush it with the butter-oil mixture. Repeat this with the remaining sheets to create a layered effect.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F for 5-7 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown. Let it cool completely.
- While the phyllo cools, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and mix well, then fold in the whipped topping. Spread this mixture over the cooled phyllo.
- Decorate the tart with mandarin oranges, kiwifruit slices, and strawberries.
- Melt the white baking chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals, then drizzle it over the fruit topping.
Notes
Allow the phyllo to cool completely before adding the toppings to prevent sogginess.
Feel free to substitute the fruits based on seasonality or personal preference.
