- ⅔ cup peanut butter
- ½ cup butter or margarine, (melted)
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup corn syrup
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- ½ cup shredded coconut
- ½ cup raisins
- ⅓ cup wheat bran
- ½ cup mini chocolate chips
- 3 cups large flake oatmeal
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350℉.
- In a large bowl, combine peanut butter, melted butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup.
- Stir in the remaining ingredients until everything is well mixed.
- Pour the mixture into a 9×13" pan lined with parchment or foil and greased with non-stick spray.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 25 minutes or until the top is a light golden brown.
- Allow to cool completely before slicing into bars.
Notes
Feel free to mix in other ingredients like nuts or seeds for added texture.
For a chewier bar, bake for less time; for a crunchier bar, bake longer.
Store leftovers in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
