Instructions
- Combine hot water and honey or agave in a cocktail shaker, whisking until well blended.
- Add lime juice, tequila, orange liqueur, and optional orange juice to the shaker. Shake well to mix all ingredients.
- Fill a glass with ice, pour the margarita mixture over the ice, garnish with a lime twist or wedge, and serve immediately.
Notes
For a sweeter margarita, adjust the amount of honey or agave used.
Use freshly squeezed juice for the best flavor.
Make it a frozen margarita by blending the ingredients with ice instead of serving over ice.
