- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- 2 servings espresso (single or double)
- 2 cups ice, separated
- 1 cup oat milk, divided
Instructions
- Prepare the brown sugar syrup by combining water, brown sugar, cinnamon stick, vanilla extract, and salt in a small saucepan over high heat.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. Once cooled, remove from heat and set aside.
- Brew your espresso as desired and place it aside while preparing the lattes.
- In a jar with a lid, add 1 cup of ice and pour in the brewed espresso along with 2 tablespoons of the prepared brown sugar syrup.
- Seal the jar, shake the contents well, and then pour the mixture into two glasses filled with ice.
- Top each glass with ½ cup of oat milk, stir, and enjoy your delicious drink!
- Store any remaining brown sugar syrup in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
Notes
You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar syrup according to your taste.
