- 4 Lobster tails (8 oz each)
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1/4 tsp Sea salt
- 1/8 tsp Black pepper
- 1/4 cup Unsalted butter (melted; 1/2 stick)
- 2 cloves Garlic (crushed)
- 2 tsp Lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp Smoked paprika
- 1 pinch Cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Thaw lobster tails if frozen, preferably overnight in the fridge.
- Preheat the grill for 15 minutes over medium heat.
- Cut the lobster shell lengthwise and secure the meat with a skewer.
- Brush the meat with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, smoked paprika, and cayenne in a bowl.
- Grill lobster tails flesh side down for 5-6 minutes.
- Flip the tails, brush with garlic butter, and grill for an additional 2-4 minutes.
Notes
Monitor the grilling time closely to prevent overcooking.
Using a meat thermometer is helpful to achieve perfect doneness at 140°F.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
