- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar packed, divided
- 2 tbs granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 lbs red seedless grapes
- 2 lbs green seedless grapes
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- In a large bowl, place the softened cream cheese.
- Using an electric hand mixer, beat the cream cheese until it becomes smooth.
- Integrate the sour cream and mix until smooth, ensuring to scrape down the sides of the bowl.
- Stir in 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, the granulated sugar, and the vanilla extract, mixing until the mixture is smooth.
- Add both types of grapes into the bowl with the mixture.
- Gently fold the grapes until they are well coated with the sauce.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator to chill for at least 2 hours; this salad is ideally served cold.
- Before serving, garnish the salad with the remaining brown sugar and chopped pecans on top
- Alternatively, you can add the toppings individually to each serving.
Notes
For best flavor, chill the salad for at least 2 hours before serving.
Feel free to substitute the pecans with walnuts or almonds if preferred.
This salad can be made a day in advance for convenience.
