Grape Salad

This Grape Salad features a delicious blend of sweet red and green grapes mixed with a rich cream cheese dressing. Perfect for a quick and easy dessert or refreshing side dish, it’s sure to impress at gatherings or casual dinners!

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar packed, divided
  • 2 tbs granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 lbs red seedless grapes
  • 2 lbs green seedless grapes
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, place the softened cream cheese.
  2. Using an electric hand mixer, beat the cream cheese until it becomes smooth.
  3. Integrate the sour cream and mix until smooth, ensuring to scrape down the sides of the bowl.
  4. Stir in 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, the granulated sugar, and the vanilla extract, mixing until the mixture is smooth.
  5. Add both types of grapes into the bowl with the mixture.
  6. Gently fold the grapes until they are well coated with the sauce.
  7. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator to chill for at least 2 hours; this salad is ideally served cold.
  8. Before serving, garnish the salad with the remaining brown sugar and chopped pecans on top
  9. Alternatively, you can add the toppings individually to each serving.

Notes

For best flavor, chill the salad for at least 2 hours before serving.
Feel free to substitute the pecans with walnuts or almonds if preferred.
This salad can be made a day in advance for convenience.
