Instructions
- Cream together unsalted butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add flour, baking powder, and salt; stir until combined.
- Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll dough into 2-ounce portions and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes and allow to cool.
- Beat together salted butter and cream cheese for frosting.
- Incorporate powdered sugar and vanilla; mix until creamy.
- Spread frosting on cooled cookies and arrange sliced fruits.
