  • Total Time: 4 hours 13 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 2 cups frosted flakes cereal , crushed
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare by lining a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Shape each scoop of ice cream into a ball using disposable gloves.
  3. Freeze the ice cream balls on the prepared baking sheet for at least 4 hours until rock hard.
  4. In a small skillet, melt the butter and add the crushed frosted flakes and ground cinnamon, sautéing until toasted, about 3 minutes. Let it cool completely.
  5. Roll the frozen ice cream balls in the toasted cereal, pressing gently to make it stick.
  6. Serve immediately with your choice of toppings.

Notes

Make sure the ice cream balls are very hard before rolling them in cereal to prevent melting.
You can use different cereals or toppings for a unique twist.
