  • 8 extra-large (12-inch) flour tortillas, warmed
  • 23 tostada shells or handful of tortilla chips or doritos
  • 1 cup queso or nacho cheese
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 3/4 cup diced tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pan over high heat.
  2. Add ground beef and let it sear for 1 minute without stirring.
  3. Break apart beef with a wooden spoon and cook until no longer red.
  4. Add taco seasoning and cook until fully browned.

  8. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  9. Place 1/4 cup beef in the center of a tortilla.
  10. Top with 1–2 tablespoons nacho cheese, to preference.
  11. Add 2 broken-up tostada pieces or chips.
  12. Spread 1-1/2 tablespoons sour cream on top of chips, then add lettuce and tomatoes.
  13. Fold bottom edge of tortilla up over filling and continue folding around circle until fully sealed.
  14. Press down gently to compress filling.
  15. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  16. Place Crunchwrap seam-side down and press gently with a spatula.
  17. Cook 90 seconds to 2 minutes per side until golden and crisp.
  18. Wipe out the pan and cook remaining Crunchwraps, adding more butter as needed.
  19. Serve immediately with guacamole, sour cream, hot sauce, and fresh lime.

Notes

For additional flavor, consider adding sliced jalapeños or avocado as toppings.
Ensure tortillas are warmed for easier folding and sealing.
Serve with your favorite sides like chips or a salad for a complete meal.
