- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese full-fat; brick-style
- 1 (7-ounce) container marshmallow creme
- 1 lime
- 1/8 teaspoon coconut extract optional
Instructions
- Remove cream cheese from packaging and place it on a microwave-safe plate. Microwave for 15 seconds, flip it over, and microwave for another 10 to 15 seconds until softened but not melted.
- Add the softened cream cheese to a large bowl. Beat with a hand mixer until completely smooth and lump-free, about 1 minute.
- Run a spoon under hot water, dry it off, and use it to scoop the marshmallow creme. Add it to the bowl along with 2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice and the coconut extract if using. Beat until smooth and creamy.
- Cover tightly and refrigerate for about 1 hour or until fully chilled. Serve with your favorite fruit or dippers, ensuring the fruit is completely dry before serving.
Notes
For a sweeter dip, you can adjust the quantity of marshmallow creme to taste.
The dip can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days before serving.
