Cookies and Cream Granola

This Cookies and Cream Granola blends irresistible flavors of oats, almonds, and delicious Oreos, making it an ideal treat for breakfast or a quick snack. Easy to prepare and utterly satisfying, it’s perfect for those craving a homemade, flavorful delight.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • ¼ cup ground flaxseed
  • ¼ cup hemp hearts
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 ½ teaspoons kosher salt
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup butter or avocado oil
  • ⅓ cup maple syrup
  • 10 oreo thins, chopped
  • 1 cup mini white chocolate chips, i find the enjoy life brand works best!
  • optional: add in mini oreos if you wish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the oats, sliced almonds, coconut flakes, flaxseed, hemp hearts, and salt.
  3. In a small saucepan, heat the butter or oil, maple syrup, and brown sugar, whisking until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat.
  4. Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and mix until everything is well combined and coated.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes, stirring twice during baking.
  6. Take it out of the oven, toss well, and let it cool for about 15 minutes.
  7. Stir in half of the mini white chocolate chips and the chopped Oreos, allowing it to cool completely before adding the remaining chocolate chips.
  8. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

For a little extra crunch, you can add mini Oreos if desired.
Make sure to allow the granola to cool completely before storing to maintain its crispness.
Experiment with different nuts or chocolate chip brands for a personalized touch.
