- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup sliced strawberries (Florida strawberries recommended)
- 1 cup 2% milk (Florida milk is preferred)
- 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
- 2 tablespoons strawberry simple syrup (homemade)
- 2 strawberries for garnish
- Ground cinnamon for garnish
- Grated chocolate for garnish
Instructions
- Combine sugar and water in a saucepan and heat until boiling.
- Add sliced strawberries and gently mash to release juices.
- Boil for 1-2 minutes, then cool for 10 minutes.
- Strain the mixture and store in the refrigerator.
- Mix milk, chocolate syrup, and strawberry simple syrup until blended.
- Drizzle chocolate syrup inside serving glasses.
- Pour the mixture into glasses and garnish with strawberries, cinnamon, and grated chocolate.
Notes
Use fresh, ripe strawberries for the best flavor.
Chill the strawberry simple syrup completely before mixing into the mocktail.
Adjust sweetness by varying the sugar in the simple syrup.
