- 9 cups (398g) Cocoa Pebbles (or Cocoa Rice Krispies)
- 15 ounces (426g) mini marshmallows
- 8 tablespoons (113g) unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract
Instructions
- Line a 9×13-inch pan with foil and spray it with nonstick cooking spray.
- Melt the butter in a large pot over medium-low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until melted. Remove from heat and mix in vanilla extract.
- Add cereal into the marshmallow mixture and stir to coat evenly. Pour the mixture into the pan and press firmly to compact it. For easy pressing, use wax paper sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
- Allow the treats to set until firm, then slice into bars. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Notes
Make sure to press the mixture firmly into the pan for better bar structure.
Using a nonstick spray on your hands can help when handling the mixture directly.
