Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, oil, and water as directed on the cake mix box; mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the cake batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
  4. In another bowl, beat together the melted butter and softened cream cheese until creamy.
  5. Blend in the peanut butter and vanilla extract until smooth.
  6. Gradually add the powdered sugar while continuing to mix until well combined.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the peanut butter cheese mixture onto the chocolate cake batter in the pan, then gently swirl the two together with a knife or spatula.
  8. Sprinkle 1 cup each of mini chocolate chips and Reese's cups on top of the mixture.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the cake is set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with the remaining chocolate chips and Reese's cups. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for easier mixing.
Swirling the mixtures may vary; it’s fine to have some chocolate and peanut butter chunks visible.
Store any leftovers covered at room temperature for up to 3 days.
