Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground 93% chicken
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ cup pizza sauce or marinara
- ¾ cup low-moisture, part skim mozzarella
- ½ cup sliced bell pepper
- ½ cup broccoli crowns
- ¼ cup sliced red onion
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper and spray with cooking oil.
- In a large bowl, mix together ground chicken, parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and salt. Divide the mixture into four equal portions, using wet hands to shape them into balls.
- Flatten each ball on the prepared baking sheets into a circular shape, approximately ¼ inch thick and 7 inches in diameter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and golden brown.
- Flip the chicken crusts, then evenly distribute the pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, bell peppers, broccoli crowns, and sliced red onion on top. Use about 2 tablespoons of sauce and 3 tablespoons of cheese for each crust.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the toppings are fully cooked.
Notes
For a crispier crust, ensure not to overcrowd the baking sheet.
You can customize toppings to your liking, such as adding olives or spinach.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
