Chicken Bacon Ranch Smashburgers

These Chicken Bacon Ranch Smashburgers are bursting with flavor, featuring ground chicken, crispy bacon, and topped with creamy ranch dressing. Perfect for a quick and satisfying dinner.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices bacon
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 2 teaspoons ranch seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 4 slices white cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • ranch dressing, for drizzling
  • 4 to 8 brioche buns

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the bacon on it. Bake for 10 minutes, then flip and bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes until crispy.
  3. While the bacon is baking, season the ground chicken with ranch seasoning. If desired, add some salt and pepper. Divide the chicken into 8 equal pieces and roll each into a ball.
  4. Heat avocado oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Press each chicken ball into the skillet using a glass or jar, making them as thin as possible. Repeat with 2 or 3 remaining balls.
  5. After 2 to 3 minutes, flip the burgers carefully and press down to ensure even cooking. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Top each burger with a slice of cheddar cheese and let it melt for an additional 1 to 2 minutes. Remove the burgers and repeat with the remaining chicken.
  7. To assemble, place shredded lettuce on the bottom of a bun, add 2 patties (or 1 if you prefer), top with 1 to 2 slices of bacon, drizzle with ranch dressing, and finish with the top bun.

Notes

Make sure not to overcrowd the skillet when cooking the burgers for even cooking and browning.
Feel free to add any other toppings you love, like tomatoes or pickles, for extra flavor and texture.
