Instructions
- Cook rice according to package directions and keep warm.
- Form ground beef into 4 thin patties; season both sides with Montreal steak seasoning.
- Heat a cast-iron skillet or griddle over medium-high heat until very hot; add patties.
- Cook patties for 2-3 minutes per side until a deep brown crust forms.
- Top each patty with a slice of sharp cheddar after flipping; allow cheese to melt.
- Divide hot rice between 4 bowls; top each with a cheesy burger patty.
- Drizzle with kewpie mayo; add pickle chips, pickled red onion, and toasted sesame seeds.
- Include any optional toppings and serve immediately.
