- your favorite brownie recipe or 1 boxed brownie mix prepared according to package directions
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream cold
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
- 1 to 2 tablespoons cooled melted chocolate optional
- 1 cup chopped strawberries patted dry
- ½ cup chocolate chips
- ½ to 1 teaspoon coconut oil
Instructions
- Prepare brownies according to your recipe or box instructions in an 8×8 or 9×9 pan.
- Bake until set and a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool completely and then chill in the fridge for 30 minutes for cleaner cuts.
Notes
For a richer flavor, consider adding the optional melted chocolate to the whipped cream mixture.
Make sure your strawberries are patted dry to avoid excess moisture on the brownies.
Chilling the brownies before cutting helps achieve neat slices.
