Ingredients
Scale
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp pepper, fresh cracked
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 lb pork tenderloin
- 1 oz ranch dressing mix packet
- 4 oz butter
- 1 lemon juice
- ¼ cup cilantro or parsley, to garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees or prepare the grill to reach 375 degrees.
- Season the pork tenderloin generously with salt and pepper, unless it is pre-brined.
- Heat olive oil in a large, heavy pan until shimmering.
- Brown the pork tenderloin on all sides for about 2-3 minutes each side.
- In a separate bowl, mix melted butter, ranch dressing mix, and lemon juice to make gravy, stirring well.
- Place a sheet of foil on a baking sheet and set the pork tenderloin in the center.
- Drizzle the ranch dressing gravy over the pork tenderloin.
- Seal the foil pouch and bake for 30 minutes, checking its temperature at 25 minutes with a digital meat thermometer.
- Once the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees, remove it from the oven, keeping the foil sealed.
- Allow to rest for 10 minutes to reach the recommended internal temperature of 150 degrees for pork.
- Garnish with cilantro, parsley, or green onions before slicing and serving.
Notes
Ensure not to add extra salt if the pork is pre-brined or dry brined.
Letting the pork rest is crucial for flavorful and juicy slices.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for meal prep.
