These Air Fryer Garlic Hasselback Potatoes are bursting with flavor from garlic and butter, offering a delightful side dish that’s easy to prepare. Perfect for a quick dinner or a tasty comfort meal, these potatoes are sure to impress!

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large potatoes
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon parsley

Instructions

  1. Place 2 knives or chopsticks flat on either side of each potato. Cut thin slices every 3 to 4mm, stopping when the knife hits the utensils to keep the potato intact.
  2. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, salt, and pepper to create the garlic herb butter.
  3. Coat the tops of the potatoes with the butter mixture using a pastry brush, gently working it into each slice. Save any leftover butter for later.
  4. Air fry the potatoes at 375°F for 10 minutes. Remove and brush any remaining butter mixture over the tops, or melt an additional tablespoon of butter if needed.
  5. Return the potatoes to the air fryer. Cook for another 15 minutes until tender and golden.
  6. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately!

Notes

Adjust the number of garlic cloves based on your taste preference.
Ensure slices in potatoes are even for uniform cooking.
Use a high-quality unsalted butter to enhance flavor.
