  • 24 ounce jar marinara sauce (about 2 ½ cups)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese or italian cheese blend
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • optional garnish: chopped fresh herbs such as parsley, basil, oregano, or thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Pour about ½ cup marinara sauce into the bottom of the dish.
  2. Place half of the frozen ravioli in a single layer over the sauce, ensuring they are flat and even.
  3. Add half of the remaining marinara sauce and top with half of the mozzarella cheese.
  4. Repeat with the remaining ravioli, remaining sauce, and remaining mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle the Parmesan evenly on top.
  5. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  6. Let the casserole set for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
