Ingredients
Scale
- 4 ounces semi-sweet or bittersweet baking chocolate
- ⅔ cup heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- Chop the baking chocolate and place it in a heat-safe bowl.
- Heat the heavy whipping cream until it just simmers, then pour it over the chocolate. Let it sit for 30 seconds and whisk until smooth.
- Stir the dip before using; it will semi-harden as it cools. If it becomes too thick, reheat it in the microwave to thin it out. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator.
Notes
Make sure to chop the chocolate finely for easier melting.
If you don’t have heavy whipping cream, you can substitute it with other cream types, but it may alter the texture.
