- 1 bunch kale, large stems removed and chopped
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream

- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions
- Brown the Italian sausage in a large pot on medium heat.
- Sauté diced onion until tender, then add butter and garlic.
- Add chopped potatoes, chicken broth, and water; stir together.
- Bring to a low boil, cooking for 5-6 minutes.
- Stir in chopped kale; cover and simmer for 10 minutes until potatoes are tender.
- Pour in heavy cream and mix well; adjust seasoning as desired.
Notes
Use flavored chicken broth for a deeper taste.
Cook sausage until crispy for extra texture.
Avoid overcooking kale to keep its nutrients.
