  • 68 fresh plums (any variety: black, red, or golden), pitted and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla and almond extracts.
  • Stir in Greek yogurt until blended.
  • Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together.
  • Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients without over-mixing.
  • Slice and sweeten plums with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  • Layer half of the batter in a greased cake pan, add half the plums, top with remaining batter and plums.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45-50 minutes.
  • Allow to cool before serving.
