- 2 cups boiling water
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 5 tea bags (your choice of tea)
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 2 1/2 cups cold water
- 2 pints cranberry juice cocktail (4 cups)
- 1/2 cup fresh squeezed blood orange juice (or regular orange juice)
- 2/3 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
- Optional garnishes: orange slices, whole cloves, cinnamon sticks
Instructions
- Mix boiling water and sugar in a saucepan until dissolved.
- Remove from heat, add tea bags, and steep for 5 minutes.
- Stir in ground cinnamon and nutmeg after removing tea bags.
- Combine brewed tea with cold water and citrus juices in a pitcher.
- Chill in refrigerator for about 2 hours.
- Garnish with orange slices, cloves, and cinnamon sticks before serving.
Notes
Experiment with different types of tea for varied flavors.
Adjust sugar to suit your taste preference.
Consider adding herbs or pomegranate juice for extra flavor.
