- 1 head cauliflower (about 2 lbs), trimmed
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- ¼ cup water
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Rinse and trim the cauliflower to sit flat.
- Combine butter, olive oil, garlic, seasoning, salt, paprika, and pepper in a bowl.
- Rub the garlic butter mixture over the cauliflower.
- Add water to the pan and cover with foil. Roast for 35 minutes.
- Remove foil and roast for an additional 15-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to rest for 5 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve.
Notes
Ensure the cauliflower is dry before seasoning for better flavor absorption.
Use a sharp knife to carve cauliflower for easier serving.
