- 1 small bunch fresh basil, finely chopped
- 4 slices of ciabatta bread
- 1 tsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brush ciabatta slices with olive oil and toast in a hot griddle pan until golden.
- Combine cherries with balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Blend ricotta cheese with lemon zest, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Spread whipped ricotta on toasted ciabatta and top with balsamic cherries and basil.
Notes
Use room temperature ricotta for easier whipping.
Experiment with different breads for unique flavors.
Drizzle honey for added sweetness if desired.
