- 4 tablespoons of unflavored gelatin
- Optional: Extra watermelon slices or mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Cut watermelon into chunks and blend until smooth, then strain to extract juice.
- In a medium saucepan, combine watermelon juice, lemon juice, and sweetener; stir until blended.
- Sprinkle gelatin over the mixture and let it bloom for about 5 minutes.
- Gently heat the mixture, stirring until the gelatin dissolves without boiling.
- Pour into molds or a shallow pan and spread evenly.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 4 to 6 hours until set.
- Remove jellies from molds or cut into squares if using a pan, and garnish as desired.
Notes
Choose a ripe watermelon for optimal flavor.
Adjust sweetness to your liking using honey or sugar.
Ensure gelatin is fully dissolved to avoid texture issues.
