- 1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk, divided
- 2 pinches salt, divided
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, divided
- 1 ¾ cups (298g) white chocolate chips
- Red food coloring (3-4 drops)
- 36 conversation heart candies
Instructions
- Line a 9×9” baking pan with foil and spray with cooking spray.
- Mix semi-sweet chocolate chips with half of the sweetened condensed milk in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, stirring until smooth.
- Remove from heat, add ½ teaspoon vanilla extract and one pinch of salt, then pour mixture into the pan and chill for 30 minutes.
- In a clean saucepan, combine white chocolate chips with the remaining sweetened condensed milk and heat until smooth.
- Mix in remaining vanilla extract, salt, and red food coloring to achieve a light pink hue.
- Pour the white chocolate mixture over the chilled chocolate layer, top with conversation heart candies, and let cool.
- Chill completely in the fridge, then slice into squares for serving.
Notes
Stirring constantly is crucial to avoid burning the chocolate.
