- 15.25 oz Red Velvet Cake Mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup chocolate frosting (store-bought or homemade)
- 10 oz red chocolate melting wafers
- Valentine’s Day sprinkles and jimmies
Instructions
- Preheat oven and prepare cake mix as per instructions.
- Bake in a greased pan until toothpick comes out clean, then let cool.
- Crumble cooled cake and mix in chocolate frosting until moist.
- Scoop and roll mixture into balls, freeze for 30 minutes.
- Melt red chocolate wafers in intervals, adjust consistency if needed.
- Insert sticks into each cake ball, dip in melted chocolate and decorate.
- Set in a cake pop holder to firm up.
