  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar (for frosting)
  • 2 teaspoons raspberry Jello powder

Instructions

  • Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a stand mixer until smooth.
  • Add eggs and mix for 30 seconds; then incorporate powdered sugar, cornstarch, vanilla bean paste, and salt.
  • Gradually add flour and mix until dough forms; chill for 1 hour.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and roll out dough on a floured surface to ¼ inch thick.
  • Cut out shapes and place on baking sheets; press heart candies into the center of cookies.
  • Bake for 12 minutes until edges are lightly browned; cool completely.
  • Beat frosting ingredients until smooth and fluffy; pipe onto plain cookies and sandwich with the heart candy cookies.
