- 1 batch sugar cookie dough
- 8–12 drops neon food coloring (4 different colors)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (for dusting)
Instructions
- Prepare your sugar cookie dough and chill it for 1 hour.
- Split the dough into four portions and add neon food coloring to each.
- Dust the countertop with flour to prevent sticking.
- Roll each colored dough into small balls and then into snake-like shapes.
- Twist and spiral the colored strands together.
- Transfer the spiraled dough to a lined cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375°F for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden.
- Cool on the pan for 2 minutes then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
Adjust the amount of food coloring for brighter hues.
Ensure the dough is well-chilled for better shape retention during baking.
