Taco Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 package cream cheese softened, 8oz/250g package
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 packet taco seasoning about 2 tablespoons
  • ½ cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes seeds removed
  • ¼ cup sliced black olives
  • 2 tbsp sliced green onions

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and sour cream with an electric mixer until smooth.
  2. Stir in the taco seasoning until fully combined.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly into a shallow serving dish or pie plate.
  4. Spread salsa on top of the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Sprinkle evenly with shredded cheese.
  6. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, black olives, and green onions.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For an extra kick, add some jalapeños on top.
This dip can be made a day in advance for busy parties.
Serve it with tortilla chips or fresh veggies for dipping.
