- 1 package cream cheese softened, 8oz/250g package
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 packet taco seasoning about 2 tablespoons
- ½ cup salsa
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes seeds removed
- ¼ cup sliced black olives
- 2 tbsp sliced green onions
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and sour cream with an electric mixer until smooth.
- Stir in the taco seasoning until fully combined.
- Spread the mixture evenly into a shallow serving dish or pie plate.
- Spread salsa on top of the cream cheese mixture.
- Sprinkle evenly with shredded cheese.
- Top with lettuce, tomatoes, black olives, and green onions.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
For an extra kick, add some jalapeños on top.
This dip can be made a day in advance for busy parties.
Serve it with tortilla chips or fresh veggies for dipping.
