Instructions
- Beat softened butter until fluffy.
- Gradually mix in flour until smooth.
- Stir yeast into sour cream, then mix in eggs, salt, and vanilla.
- Combine mixtures to form a sticky dough and chill for 2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare baking sheets.
- Roll the chilled dough on a sugared surface into a rectangle.
- Cut strips, twist them, and coat with sugar before placing on sheets.
- Bake for 17-20 minutes until golden.
Notes
Ensure butter is at room temperature for a fluffy dough.
Use plenty of sugar to prevent sticking during rolling.
Chilling the dough is vital for easy shaping.
