- 1 and 1/2 large Peaches, cut in half, cored, and sliced
- 1/3 cup Fresh Basil Leaves, finely chopped
- Balsamic Glaze (to taste)
- Salt and Black Pepper (to taste)
- 2 tbsp Cornmeal or flour (for dusting)
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil (for pizza pan or cast-iron skillet)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- On a floured surface, shape the pizza dough into a 12-inch round.
- Transfer the dough to a greased pizza pan or cast-iron skillet.
- Spread basil pesto over the crust, avoiding the edges.
- Layer mozzarella and sprinkle with parmigiano-reggiano cheese.
- Add prosciutto slices over the cheese.
- Artfully distribute peach slices on top.
- Sprinkle fresh basil leaves across the pizza.
- Bake until edges are golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Garnish with additional basil, cheese, and balsamic glaze before serving.
