- 1/4 cup pink decorating sugar
Instructions
- Cream together granulated sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
- Add the room temperature egg and mix until smooth.
- Incorporate the food coloring, strawberry, and vanilla extracts.
- Whisk together dry ingredients separately, then mix into the wet ingredients.
- Shape dough into 1-ounce balls, roll in sugar, and dip in pink sugar.
- Chill the dough balls on a baking sheet for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are set and tops are puffy.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes before transferring.
