- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (omit if using vanilla yogurt or protein powder)
- ¾ cup almond milk (or your favorite milk)
- ¼ cup whipped heavy cream or coconut cream
- 1 tablespoon crumbled vanilla quick bread or sponge cake
Instructions
- Add frozen banana, fresh strawberries, rolled oats, Greek yogurt, protein powder, and vanilla extract to blender.
- Pour in almond milk, starting with ½ cup, and blend until smooth.
- Adjust thickness by adding more almond milk if desired.
- Taste and add more fruit or honey for sweetness if necessary.
- Pour into a glass, top with whipped cream and crumbled vanilla quick bread, and serve immediately.
Notes
Freeze strawberries ahead for enhanced coldness.
Adjust protein powder based on dietary needs for best results.
