Instructions
- Remove stems and slice strawberries in half.
- Blend strawberries and sugar until smooth; reserve ¾ cup for layering.
- Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Fold reserved strawberry puree into whipped cream gently.
- Layer reserved puree in glasses, then top with mousse.
- Chill in refrigerator for about 2 hours.
- Serve garnished with whipped cream and strawberries.
Notes
Use ripe strawberries for optimal sweetness.
Chill your mixing bowl and beaters for better whipped cream consistency.
Be gentle when folding in the strawberry puree to keep the mousse light.
