  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons liquid honey
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • ½ tablespoon cornstarch (or flour)
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, green onions, egg, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Form 1.5-inch meatballs and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for about 15 minutes until cooked through.
  • Prepare the sauce by mixing rice vinegar, brown sugar, soy sauce, honey, garlic, cornstarch, and water in a bowl.
  • Heat the sauce in a saucepan over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes.
  • Toss the baked meatballs in the sauce to coat.
  • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
