This Spinach Frittata is a simple yet flavorful dish combining fresh spinach and fluffy eggs, ideal for any meal. It’s perfect for meal prep and can be enjoyed warm or at room temperature.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 cup fresh spinach (or 1/2 cup thawed, drained frozen spinach)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional add-ins: diced tomatoes, sautéed onions, chopped herbs

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9-inch oven-safe skillet.
  • Heat olive oil or butter in the skillet and sauté fresh spinach until wilted.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until combined.
  • Stir in sautéed spinach, cheese, and any optional add-ins.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared skillet, spreading it evenly.
  • Bake for 22–25 minutes or until the center is set and lightly golden.
  • Let cool for about 5 minutes, slice, and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Fresh spinach provides the best flavor; frozen can work but ensure it’s drained well.
Feel free to customize the cheese or add more vegetables as desired.
To check doneness, insert a toothpick; clean means it’s ready.
