Spaghetti and Meatball Sliders on Hawaiian Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound lean ground beef (80/20)
  • 2 tablespoons Italian bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 envelope beefy onion soup mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounces spaghetti noodles, cooked al dente and drained
  • 1 cup jarred marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 12 pack Hawaiian rolls
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup salted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  • Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, parmesan, egg, soup mix, garlic, oregano, and pepper in a bowl; mix gently.
  • Form into 12 meatballs; bake at 375°F for 10-15 minutes until 165°F internally.
  • Cook spaghetti until al dente, mix with marinara and parmesan.
  • Assemble sliders: layer spaghetti, meatball, and mozzarella on halved Hawaiian rolls.
  • Brush with garlic butter, cover with foil, and bake at 375°F for 20 minutes; uncover, bake for 4-5 more minutes until golden.

Notes

Using fresh ingredients enhances flavor.
Chill pre-cooked meatballs for easier assembly later.
Don’t skip the garlic butter topping for extra flavor.
