Ingredients

- 6 black tea bags (regular size)
- 8 cups water, divided in half
- 1 (15 oz) can peach slices, pureed
- 1 cup water (for simple syrup)
- 1 cup sugar
Instructions
- Heat 4 cups of water to a boil.
- Steep tea bags in boiling water for 5 minutes.
- Remove tea bags and let tea cool to room temperature.
- In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar over medium heat to make simple syrup.
- Add cooled tea to a pitcher and mix in the simple syrup.
- Stir in the pureed peaches.
- Add remaining 4 cups of cool water and mix well.
- Serve over ice, garnished with peach slices or mint.
Notes
Use ripe peaches for the best flavor.
Store leftover tea in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
Adjust sweetness with more or less syrup to taste.
