- 1½ lb lean sirloin steak, sliced into thin strips
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 orange bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 large red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
- Juice of 1 medium lime
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
- Tortillas, sour cream, shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, and salsa for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Drizzle olive oil over a large baking sheet.
- Slice sirloin and bell peppers thinly.
- Combine steak and veggies on the baking sheet.
- Sprinkle taco seasoning, smoked paprika, soy sauce, and lime juice over the mixture.
- Toss to coat and spread evenly on the sheet.
- Bake for 10-13 minutes until steak is cooked and veggies are tender.
- Serve with warmed tortillas and your favorite toppings.
Notes
Avoid overcooking the steak to maintain tenderness.
Thinly slicing vegetables ensures they cook perfectly with the steak.
